FormaPop Gallery - Easypop Collection

 EASYPOP COLLECTION

Galleria FormaPop
Via delle Sirene, 72-76 Roma (Ostia Lido)

FormaPop Mutazioni Contemporanee opens, a new exhibition space in southern Rome and precisely in Ostia Lido.
A new bet by the multifaceted organizer and curator of artistic events Dr. Marinella Mendola, who, after the prestigious curatorial experience at Palazzo Beneventano, the so-called Royal Palace of Sicily, in the province of Syracuse, takes on a new project here in Ostia.
The intent is to replicate and create a new cultural lung in this magnificent town full of potential attractions, to promote and disseminate contemporary art through exhibitions, screenings, performances, teaching, meetings with artists, illustrators, photographers, writers, etc. .
Not only pop and street art therefore, but projects and works by different artists will be presented who will have as their common denominator the ability to provoke suggestions through their own world and their own visionary research.

The gallery's exhibition program begins with the exhibition:
Easypop Collection
More than 60 works will be presented including paintings, sculptures and drawings by the artist who has been exhibiting for several years now throughout the national territory.
Easypop stages the characters and imagery of Japanese and American cartoons from the 1980s onwards which, through their transfiguration into classic works and quotations, tell the story of contemporary man, exalting and highlighting his weaknesses and virtues.
The opening was scheduled in 3 days to allow the visit to the exhibition avoiding any crowding problems related to the Covid emergency.
